Assistant Manager and wedding co-ordinator
Pentre Mawr Wedding Venue is looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Manager to join our small, friendly team.
Pentre Mawr Country House has 12 guest bedrooms- 6 of which are Safari Lodges offering a luxurious glamping experience. Hosting weddings each weekend, you must have experience in hotel or events management or have worked in a similar environment such as a wedding venue or country house. You will need to be organised and have excellent time management skills.
Along with the owners you will be responsible for the day to day running of the site. Pentre Mawr is a large site so it is paramount that you are a hands on person and are willing to go beyond your job description where necessary to make sure things get done to the high standard that is expected. You will be responsible for a small team of housekeepers and other staff members including writing the rota each week and ensuring standards are upheld at all times.
The successful applicant will require a range of skills combined with strong personal motivation to ensure the satisfaction of bridal couples and other guests. You will also assist the General Manager with admin duties such as rotas, wedding files, hotel bookings etc. Being social media aware is very important as we value the importance of marketing in the success of the business. Knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest a must.

Salary from £18,000 depending paid monthly, full time Tuesday to Saturday.
