Weddings at Pentre Mawr
We have a modern approach to our weddings. We believe in the three little words, no, not “I love you” though they’re very important too but “Latest Wedding Trends!” We want you feel at home, the more relaxed you are, the more enjoyable your stay with us will be. There really is no limit to the kind of wedding day you can create for yourself – and it all begins with your choice of venue.
Here, we’re breaking all the rules! So, if it’s your dream to get married in a Secret Walled Garden, you can. If a rustic barn is your thing, no problem. Or if you are set on an outdoor wedding, we have the magical Garden Terrace overlooking the Clwydian Hills.
I know what I’d want if I were you…all of the above but most of all, the control and freedom to make the day your own. So often when you go to wedding venues you get a list of do’s and don’ts. That’s the one thing we’re trying to avoid here. Our favourite saying is, ‘If it’s legal and we can physically do it, the answer is YES!’
At Pentre Mawr we understand how important it is to have the wedding you’ve always dreamed of, and so we want to make that happen. We have the Country House, that’s exclusively yours for the weekend. We have the beautiful lined marquees for you to marry in and decorate as your own. Here we even have our very own Pinterest room, full of everything you need to make it happen. Table centres, bunting, lanterns, chair sashes and lawn games. Plus all the little fun bits too, like the photo wall, candy cart and doughnut wall.
So, now you’re thinking…. ‘What’s the catch?’
Well…. you and your friends can stay in one of our cottage suites or safari lodges with either a huge spa bath or your own private hot tub for the weekend. We know, it’s a tough call.
It goes without saying, you have the complete freedom to design every aspect of your day. We recommend what we call our ‘Pentre Perfect Partners’, contractors who’s work we’ve seen and know, but don’t feel obliged to use them. Whether you marry here or not, they’re great people to use to make your day perfect.
